Hey, sorry I’m posting for the first time so I’m kinda nervous and lazy to type neatly but here goes. This happened yesterday and I’m still shook. I’m 24, uni student in Nonthaburi. Been with my boyfriend almost two years. I’m grinding on my final project so stressed already, but this just pushed me over. Way over.

Short story first. Silent. Super confused.

Last night around 9:15 he texted saying he’s stuck in a meeting with some friends and will be home late. I was fine, didn’t want to make a scene at 2am when I have class in the morning. But when I checked his Instagram I saw someone else’s story — a person I’ve never seen in real life. They tagged a location near his condo, posted a smiling selfie with a white paper coffee cup, and my boyfriend liked it twice. My heart skipped. Then that person put a chill song on their story and replied to my boyfriend’s comment with an inside joke. I felt…wow. Felt like being slowly cut, lol.

Or am I overthinking? I asked him straight and he said she’s just a friend from a nearby faculty, came to talk about a project with another friend, nothing else. He said that for real and I want to believe him, but why do I feel so off? My head keeps looping like before when he used to turn his phone off and not pick up a lot during exam time. He said he was stressed, it happened occasionally, but I kept thinking about it for months.

I don’t want to be petty, but I also don’t want to look stupid if I just let this feeling sit. What do you guys think I should do? Talk seriously face-to-face or wait until I have clear proof? How should I bring it up so he doesn’t feel overly attacked? T_T

P.S. Can someone give me short lines to say that aren’t harsh but are clear? Like “I want you to be honest with my feelings” or a one-liner I can drop in the elevator for 10 seconds — not long but gets the point. I really want actual phrases like that.
