My boss yells at people in front of coworkers a lot like this, what should I do?
I'm really confused and stressed out.

Okay story time. I'm 31 and I work at a little shop around Samut Prakan. Been at this job almost two years. Lately the workload jumped because the big branch closed for renovations so we had to take orders from other branches. I do what I can — stay organizing stock until almost midnight a lot of nights. Some nights I don't leave the shop until like 11:30pm–12:30am, and it takes me an hour, hour and a half or more to get home because of traffic. Sometimes I'm late in the morning because of traffic but I try to make up for it. The problem is this boss likes to shout at people in front of everyone. Like literally loud, you know? Right in front of the cashier, customers see it. She’s said things like “Why are you so slow?” even though I’d already prepared the items but the system froze. I was so confused.

Yesterday just happened — she told me to pack more to catch up with the queue and then yelled at me hard, saying I don’t know how to work, while I was checking stock. A new coworker just stood there stunned, totally silent. One colleague was holding a pen and it just froze midair. It was so awkward. I felt humiliated because I’ve been carrying the extra work for months, but I didn’t dare answer back because I’m afraid of a fight and afraid of getting my hours cut. My emotions are all over the place — sad, angry, confused. Am I overthinking it?

Sometimes I smile and act like nothing happened, but when I get home around 1am I just replay it in my head and can’t sleep well. I sleep on and off, wake up every half hour and check my phone, rinse and repeat. Should I adjust and accept it or say something directly? Or should I keep a record of the times she yells — like note down 21:15 and what she said — in case I need to talk to someone higher up? But I’m also afraid people will think I’m being petty.

I don’t know what to do. Let it go? Or try to talk politely first? Could I say something like “Last night I stayed until almost midnight to pack extra orders” like that? But if I speak up I’m afraid she won’t listen, and if I don't it just keeps stressing me out. What should I do lol T_T

Anyone who’s gone through this, please share how you dealt with it. What should I do? P.S. This is my first time posting so sorry if I messed up anything.
