I was packing orders around 10:30pm the other night, just me, some boxes and a small pen in the warehouse, when the company group chat popped up and I literally felt like someone pulled the rug out from under me. I stared at the screen, mouth open. I couldn’t even speak. Total shock.

Short version: I’m 38, live in Samut Prakan, I run a small shop and a warehouse at home, manage stock, ship orders, update the page — basically do everything almost alone while also looking after family. For the past two months I took on orders from another company’s marketing team to help design a joint promo and pack some of the customers’ orders. They said they needed agility, so their salespeople would sell, but asked me to plan content and handle packing because I have more experience in that area.

I took it seriously. I was calling the sales team kid twice a week, like morning and evening calls — sometimes at 9am and then again close to 8pm — we made live scripts, lists of items to restock, promo plans, set discount codes, and I packed orders to keep up with the queue. Some nights I was still stuffing boxes alone in the warehouse past 10pm, so sleepy my eyes wanted to shut, but I kept going because I thought we were a team — if it went well, it would be good for all of us. I didn’t overthink it.

Then yesterday the boss re-posted campaign photos on the company page and praised his team, saying the campaign succeeded because his team hit the numbers, and that the content designer was his marketing head — but there was no mention of me at all. Silent. No credit, not even a thank you. In the group chat the boss messaged the team saying they did their best, but then added something like, “if anyone thinks they did it first, it won’t be the same anymore.” Like… what? I’ve been doing this all along.

I’m so confused — should I be angry or embarrassed? I feel like my name was erased from the project even though I set up the whole back-end system and explained the steps for others to follow. I’m not visible in the final picture; everything’s been turned into their team’s work. The salespeople who helped said their boss told them to keep quiet for now because the company will release the news themselves. I waited to hear it, and when the announcement came out I was almost in shock.

Maybe I’m overthinking? I honestly don’t know whether I should say something or let it go since we still have to work together. I’m worried if I bring it up I’ll come across as loud or petty, but if I don’t say anything it feels like I’m letting them take my idea. It’s not just about pride — it affects my income and my brand’s reputation too, because some customers asked, “Why can’t we see your brand name?” If I ask for credit or for them to clearly acknowledge my work, how should I do it? Politely, not emotional — I could be furious, but I’m scared.

Should I talk to the boss again? Should I say directly that I want credit in the post or ask for proper attribution, or will I be seen as vindictive? I’m so lost T_T Has anyone else gone through this? What should I do? LOL
