Office has steady salary insurance and friends but no time freedom must wake early 2 hour daily commute and micromanaging boss. Freelance means wake up whenever work anywhere sometimes earn more than salary but some months barely any work no insurance no 13th month bonus and lonely working alone. In conclusion neither is strictly better. It depends on your personality. If you like freedom go freelance. If you want stability go office.
