My child is 3 years old and will start kindergarten next year. We are a foreign family in Thailand. At first we wanted an international school but the tuition is very expensive with some at 200000 baht per term. Our budget is 80000 baht so we are now considering bilingual schools that teach both Thai and English at half the cost. But we are not sure if children really become fluent in English at bilingual schools. Anyone with children at bilingual schools how are the results? Does your child speak English well? Or is international school the only way?
