Phuket teen artist Neenee Royal travels to U.S. to perform in AGT live shows, aims to surprise Thai fans

Neenee Royal, a teenage rock singer from Phuket, departed for the United States on Wednesday to take part in the Live Shows of America’s Got Talent (AGT). Before boarding, Neenee told reporters she has prepared thoroughly and intends to deliver her best performance for her Thai fans, with a special surprise planned for this round.

Neenee’s trip drew attention from local media and many fans because she represents Thailand among the contestants who advanced to the live shows of the global reality series. This achievement highlights the potential of young musicians from Phuket to present their work on an international stage and helps shine a spotlight on the province’s local music scene, which continues to produce new talent.

Neenee previously made a name for herself with powerful performances and a distinctive stage presence, earning praise from audiences at home and abroad. Advancing to AGT’s live shows is not only an opportunity for her personally but also a platform to raise awareness of Phuket in terms of contemporary arts and culture. Supporters in Phuket have organized active followings and cheering groups on social media.

Sources say that although competing abroad presents challenges such as language barriers and adjustment, Neenee has confirmed she is prepared in terms of rehearsals, stage management and communicating with the international crew. Despite the high pressure of competing live against world-class talent, her determination and the support of her fans have strengthened her resolve.

For people in Phuket and across Thailand, following Neenee on AGT is a source of pride and inspiration for children and young people with musical dreams. It may also boost cultural tourism, as international viewers become interested in the performer’s roots; telling the story of her origins in Phuket could help build a positive image for the province.

Neenee also invited Thai fans to follow and support her through social media and by voting according to the show’s rules. She hopes her live performance will convey positive energy and inspire viewers both in Thailand and abroad. At the same time, she plans to return and share what she learns from this international stage with youth in Phuket to help develop the local music scene further.
