Phitsanulok Film and Music Festival This Year Features Local Works and Opens Stage for New Creators

The province’s annual film and music festival returns in the first week of September. The provincial government, together with the Cultural Council and local artist groups, has put together an extended program featuring short films, documentaries, outdoor screenings, and musical performances by traditional and contemporary artists to promote the professionalism of local creators and attract cultural tourists.

This year’s highlight is a short film festival that selected 30 works from filmmakers in the northern region and Bangkok, with competition categories for independent creators and for youth. Selected local artists and directors will take part in workshops with experts in sound editing and distribution to online platforms.
