Man Delirious with Knife at Phitsanulok School Arrested After Drinking Pig's Blood Mixed with Beer, Claims Ritual to Ward Off Bad Luck

On Tuesday afternoon, police at Mueang Phitsanulok station received a report that a man wearing torn clothes was wandering with a knife in the grounds of a school located in a central community area. Witnesses said the man appeared intoxicated, spoke incoherently, and tried to approach groups of students before officers were able to take the situation under control in time.

After his arrest, the suspect said he had earlier drunk pig’s blood mixed with beer as a private ritual to ward off bad luck and to summon some kind of power. He said this caused his intoxication and led to strange behavior that took him onto the school premises.
