I have been in Thailand for 1 year and still cannot get used to Thai Time. Made plans with a friend for lunch at 10am. I arrived at the restaurant at 9:50. Waited. 10:15 still not here. Called and they said just leaving home. 10:45 still not here. Called again and they said almost there. Finally arrived at 11:30! One and a half hours late like nothing happened. Did not even apologize. Just smiled and said traffic. Asked other Thai people and everyone said this is normal. If you make plans for 10am it means leaving home at 10am. Ha!
