Bought shirts at the weekend market — washed once and they shrunk to child size
Went to Chatuchak weekend market and found beautiful t-shirts for 100 baht each. Tried them on at the shop and they fit perfectly. Bought 3 and went home very happy. After the first machine wash and sun drying I came back to fold them and hey! The shirts shrunk by half! Size L became size for a 10 year old child. Could not wear them at all. All 3 shrunk. Wasted 300 baht. My girlfriend said when buying from the market you need to buy 2 sizes bigger than normal because they shrink after washing. Why didnt you tell me before!
