I came from Korea where 30 degrees in summer already feels unbearable. In Thailand at 40 degrees it feels like walking in an oven. Sweating all over and can barely breathe. But my Thai coworker is wearing long sleeves and long pants and says today the weather is nice and cool. I almost fainted. Asked if it is not hot and they said not hot at all this is normal. They explained that last year was 45 degrees so this year at only 40 is considered cool. I think at 45 degrees I would have melted.
