What should I do? I'm still confused about what happened this morning (actually it happened around 2:30 PM). Really confused.

Quick backstory: I'm 28 and work in accounting at a company near Samut Prakan. My regular job is closing the books and organizing documents, but this month I had extra work preparing info for the internal committee. They asked me to make the slides and said to send the file to the boss to check before the presentation. I finished the slides, tweaked a bunch of things, and emailed the file to the boss this morning. I even brought a blue pen because I like jotting quick fixes on a small sheet of paper — I was doing that in the last 20 minutes before leaving the house.

The problem is the boss never said I would be presenting to the executives this afternoon. Worse, two teammates who had the original numbers were left off the meeting invite list, even though their data directly affects my slides. It's like I was the only horse thrown into the race but nobody prepared the data for me. Just silence.

When the time came, the boss announced in the meeting that I should present because my file looked the cleanest. I was fine with that, but those two teammates had prepared the source numbers and didn't update the file I had because they weren't invited to the meeting. I checked the team LINE at 1:50 PM and saw their messages read but no replies. Super confusing. During the presentation I got questioned about where some numbers came from. I answered with what I had, but some important people weren't there, so it felt like I was the one at fault even though I wasn't trying to hide anything. I ended up being the target of criticism in front of everyone. For about 30 minutes of speaking I felt my hands shake, heart race, and I was sweating a bit.

After the meeting the boss nudged me to fix the slides and said, “Next time be careful,” in a tone that didn’t explain how the uninvited teammates had prepared their numbers. I went home feeling weird and really uncomfortable. Like, thanks for the opportunity to present but also so awkward at the same time. Am I overthinking it? The boss could blame the teammates, but I care about the boss too.

I'm usually detail-oriented, but in that rushed situation I got shaky and some things weren't clear. I keep overthinking it haha.

Question: For those who've been in this situation, what do you suggest I do next? Should I talk to the boss directly and ask that next time they confirm data with the whole team before presenting? Or should I talk to my teammates first so they take responsibility for their parts? How can I protect myself without making the office atmosphere too tense? Thanks in advance. P.S.
