Last night I got home after a late shift, it was past ten. I opened my boyfriend's jacket that was left in the bedroom to grab some clothes to wash, and found a small perfume bottle I've never seen before. It smelled kind of sweet, but I didn't think much of it — maybe a coworker grabbed the wrong thing, right?
But under the bottle there was a long, sleek black hair. Like long hair. I freaked out. I'm 38, a nurse at a hospital near Pattaya, and I work nights a lot, so finding this in the middle of the night made my heart drop. It was so quiet.
I'm not the jealous type, but we've been together almost three years and we've been pretty open with each other. Lately he's been coming home late a lot, saying he's tied up with cases, and his phone is locked more often now like he doesn't want me to see it. So I started wondering. Could that hair be from a patient's relative? Am I overthinking? Or is he really keeping his sister's stuff? I am so confused.
I tried talking to him, but when I asked directly he blew up and said I'm always accusing him. I'm annoyed but I don't want to damage the trust. Then in the morning I found another kind of perfume in a different jacket pocket that isn't mine. Now I'm even more confused and don't know how to bring it up. Sometimes I even feel guilty for snooping in his stuff.
What do you all think? Should I quietly watch and wait, or ask him straight up but without getting emotional? Sorry if this is jumbled, OP is really confused T_T
P.S. I'm worried this could affect work — I don't want coworkers finding out.
Found something in his jacket and my heart's racing — do I trust what I saw?
