Sorry, this is my first post so if I type weird or misspell stuff sorry in advance T_T
I'm 34, work as a factory laborer near Nonthaburi, doing rotating morning/evening shifts. Sometimes I start at 5am, sometimes finish at 3:30pm, so I'm often exhausted. Right now I'm super confused.

Two months ago the supervisor I always work with changed. New guy is very serious, talks sternly, works insanely fast, and insists on watching training clips on his phone and making us follow them exactly. He doesn't ask the workers' opinions at all. A few times he ordered us to push the machine harder even though I told him it would overheat and risk breaking. I warned him about this a couple weeks ago but he just said “I want the target met” and wouldn't listen — felt suffocating.

Some teammates started arguing with him. A few got scolded in front of everyone even though they just got off the machine, still with oil on their hands and a black pen stuck in their fingers. He also makes us do extra reports every week even though none of us have computers — we have to write on paper and get signatures, and he wants crazy detailed info. I'm not against the idea per se, but it feels excessive. When we text him about problems sometimes he just replies things like “handle it yourself” and disappears for like 10 minutes or even hours. I feel abandoned.

I don't like confronting the boss, but some nights I lie awake wondering if I'm just too sensitive or if he treats everyone like this, or if I should adapt more, or if I'm overthinking. Sometimes I want to be blunt but I'm afraid it'll wreck the atmosphere and make work even busier.

Weird thing is he often invites certain people to eat after work and those people barely talk to me. When urgent jobs come up he calls them first. Feels like there's an inner circle, so I'm unsure how to assert myself or whether to just endure until this project ends.

I thought about keeping evidence like photos of signed notes, but I'm worried it will blow up. Should I talk straight to him, wait until I have solid proof, or is there another way to make the team actually function as a team? I want the workplace to be easier, but I'm scared if I speak up it might get worse haha

Thanks for any advice, I'll read every comment.
