I'm 38, office job in Korat. Sneaking away from my boss to post this during lunch break at 12:37. Typing on my phone with a keychain hanging off my bag next to me.

Short version: Last night around 10:30 I accidentally saw a LINE message that looked like it belonged to my gf (we've been together 2 years) on her phone that was sitting on the table. It was a flirty message plus a photo of the two of them at a cafe near our place in Nakhon Ratchasima, but the sender's name was a nickname I didn't know at all. At first I thought maybe an old friend, but when I checked the story one person commented super familiar-like and my gf liked the comment. Umm, super confusing.

I went quiet.

I messaged her casually like “who’s this” and she answered but mumbled, said it was just a new coworker, and laughed half-heartedly. About a 10-second call and then she hung up. I sent a sticker back like nothing, but inside I was boiling. I tried not to blow up because I’ve seen stuff like this with her family before — last time was worse. Felt like déjà vu. Kinda funny but also not funny at all.

I don’t know what to do. Do I believe her or am I being paranoid? Am I just being clingy? Or caring too much? I don’t want to become the guy who constantly checks her phone, but I also don’t want to be lied to. Trust is so hard to get back, right?

Anyone been through this? What did you do? Talk to them straight up or snoop first? And if I talk and she denies it, then what? What should I do T_T

P.S. Sorry if this is written messy or weird.
