I'm Thai, I've been working in Korea for 5 years. My wife lives here with me and we have one child.

6 months ago, my wife's younger brother, age 24, asked to come to Korea to find work. Said the economy back home was bad, no jobs. We helped with the visa, let him stay with us for 1-2 months until he could find work.

6 months in.

Hasn't applied anywhere. Wakes up at 11, watches YouTube all day, plays games, eats food my wife cooks. Says "I don't speak Korean, I can't work."

I suggested he take language classes first. He said "tuition is expensive." I offered to pay. He said "don't worry, brother, I'll think about it."

This has started fights with my wife. She feels for her brother, says "calm down, he's still adjusting." Meanwhile I'm buying my own meals out a lot because she cooks for him first.

2-bedroom rental. My kid is getting cranky because uncle sits in the living room all day.

As the brother-in-law, can I kick him out?
